Refrigerator coil set

Over the years I have seen post about moving wires on the coils to make the unit colder but can not remember how to move them. Any one know the process?

Hey Frank, I think you are referring to the thermistor which clips onto the refer fins (usually on the right side). Moving it up makes things colder, moving it down makes it warmer. Some use the phrase "north is colder than south" to remember the direction of change.

I hope moving it helps you with your cooling issues but there are MANY things that can/will cause the reefer to not cool properly.

Right on. The one key factor we have done to lower operating temps was to install a 110AC 4inch blade fan at the bottom of the outside vent pointing up, to facilitate pushing heat up and out.
