Question Colorado I70

I’ve read conflicting information about the height requirements for the Eisenhower tunnel traveling west on I-70 in Colorado. One said 13’6” and another said 16’4” but with the messaging boards it drops it to 13’11”. We have a 3120 at 13’6” and are not sure about making it through the tunnel. Any information is greatly appreciated.

We went through it last year and there were no problems.

Minimum clearance on interstates is 16', you'll be fine.

Welcome to the forum!

If you see 18 wheelers on the road you will have no issue with your rig. They are typically an inch or two taller than you.

Take the time to actually measure your rig while hooked up - you are likely a couple of inches shorter than 13' 6".

The actual height of Eisenhower Tunnel is 13.92’ x 40’ wide.
The 16’ applies to Bridges But in urban areas only one lane is required to be 16’
Pay attention to signs when traveling through cities.

We went through the tunnel last summer. No problems. Now gassing up on that road was a problem.
