Just put a deposit down on a Mountaineer 331 and was offered the Superior Companion Extended Warranty through Sal Protection Plan. It's a Canadian company and was wondering if any out there have had any experience with them. The cost is $2700 for 7 years, I think. If you don't use it you get $2000 back. It covers all mechanical but no structural. Have to review the pamphlet yet but will probably go for it.

I haven't had that one, but a buddy of mine did on a used class C he purchased. They only had the unit for about 18 months but did a lot of traveling. He paid over $3,000 for the warranty but got all but about $600 back when he sold his unit. My central Illinois (home) Ford dealer offers a vehicle extended warranty plan which is kind of like that but from a different company. I had it on a vehicle a few years ago and ended up trading the vehicle in after about 2 years. They gave me about 75% back on the warranty. I am probably going to get the same plan next month on my 2012 F350. If you use the extended warranty at their dealership there is no deductible, if you use it at any other Ford/Lincoln dealership there is a $100 deductible. I wasn't going to get an extended warranty on the truck but when I had my oil changed here in Florida (33,000 miles) they discovered a slight transmission leak.
