Which are easier to install? Steadyfast or JTs?

There are several sites JTs can be ordered from see google. When I installed mine 3 years ago, rvwholesalers.com was the cheapest price I could find. Shop around.
The JTs were not particularly difficult to install, but it did take a while. Drilling upward under the bottom of the frame was the worse part.

I never installed a set of JT's, but last year while at Quartzsite (2010) MOC Member "GaryM" installed them while we were camped in the middle of the desert. It took him about the same amount of time as it took for me to install the "SteadyFast" this year at Quartzsite, about 3 hours. Both are very similar installs.

We long time it in South Texas for 5 months or so. The wind blows quite a bit. Would these things help the wobble?

Most definitely. Our stabilizers work wonderfully well in the wind so that is an added bonus for having them. Diana

I agree with Dutch and Di. We frequently camp in an area of the mountains in Colorado where the winds coming down thru the valley can get quite high. The JTs do help a lot in reducing the movement due to wind.

Just keep in mind that the stabilizer system (no matter which one you choose) will only reduce movement and not totally eliminate it. But the reduction is significant and worth the cost and effort at least in my opinion.
