sliding bedroom door fix???

2015 Montana with the sliding bedroom door

Anyone have a fix for it continually falling off the track. Issue appears to be very poor attachment to the track (brass fingers that lock around a metal stub).

I'm guessing someone has a great solution that involves a 10 min trip to major home improvement store

If it is the same as our closet door tracks, you can purchase MUCH higher quality slides at Wurth-Louis or any cabinet hardware company. Maybe even Lowes or Home Depot

Same problem with our 2014 model. Sliders fell off track, broken hangers, etc. Had them replaced twice under warranty and then after that, went to Lowes for new track and hangers and then made a bottom track; 2X4 with milled slots for doors to slide in. Screwed to the closet floor. Stained it to match rest of the woodwork and no more problems.

I bet that's the issue, the bottom gets around the cheap plastic guide and it swings off the track. Looks like a new track/attaches and a bottom guide are in order, off to the big box store I go

Had the same problem both with the sliding bedroom door and the closet doors. Keystone uses a plastic hanger type deal that clips onto the pin which holds the door up to hang the doors. I replaced all of mine with metal ones with a metal hook instead of plastic and have had no problems since. Also had a second track installed in the floor for the closet doors to run in and the swinging door problems where solved also.

We had this problem with ours as well. During travel the door would "drop" of the track in the open position because it seemed to open too far. My solution was to make a door stop that would not allow it to travel too far open. I made it out of a piece of scrap oak I had in the barn. Believe it or not, to match our hickory wood, I used clean power steering fluid to oil the wood and it matched nearly perfectly. Yup, I'm a redneck on this one! Haven't had a problem with the door since.

Where did you mount this? Can you post a picture?

WE had one door come off because I forgot to latch it before traveling. I replaced the cheap plastic excuse for a hanger with a metal one from Amazon. From that time on we tuck a hand towel between the back end of each door and the edge of the wall to keep the doors from moving and have not had another problem since. We also tuck a towel in around the edge of the sliding pocket door at the top of the steps.
