2010 Montana water in corner in side

We have been battling moisture in the corners of the slide . We have sealed the windows with plastic so no water could get in but the carpet is still wetafter a rain. Have resealed the roof of the slide, recaulked the windows. Any ideas on how to fix the moisture on the carpet in the corner would be great.

Hi, you don't mention which model Montana you have, or which slide is leaking. Also, are you traveling a lot or sitting in one place? The reason I ask is that when I had a leak in the corner of my super slide, it turned out that my rig was not level side to side and a heavy rain brought the water in. It sounds like you have had this problem for awhile, however, since you have taken some steps to fix it. How is the condition of your slide seals?

And do not forget caulk issue on the outside top, bottom, and side strips of the slide itself.

If it's a front bedroom slide the issue is very common and the cure is to recaulk the four inch stip on the outside of the slide on the bottom. Doesn't seem right when you look at it, but solved the problem for us and others for the last 5 years.
