Scott 1000 toilet paper

I am sure that this has been discussed somewhere on this forum before, but I could not find it. We have always used RV toilet paper but it is expensive and just don't much care for it. We picked up some Scott 1000 single ply septic safe toilet paper and are thinking of giving it a try. We do not put all toilet paper in the tank, the gently used paper goes in the trash and we use a lot of water. Anyone tried using anything other than RV toilet paper. Thanks

We ave been using regular Charmin for a long time and have never had any problems. Use a lot of water and dump when the black tank is full. And.......we put all th toilet paper in the tank....not just some of it.

We have used the Scott single ply in our four campers and it all goes down the toilet. Never had a single problem (couldn't resist the pun!!)

Yup, Scott single ply users here, into the toilet and with plenty of water. No need to dump into a separate receptacle. Over 10 years of doing this, and NO problems!

Yep, same here. If fact we just purchased a huge supply from BJ's Club (similar to SAMs and Costco) today.

We're there with the others. Used Scotts for 5 years now, all of it down the hole with not a single problem. Since we're premium members and have both Kansas and New Mexico home bases for storage, we get it from Amazon by the case; http://www.amazon.com/Scott-Rapid-Di...v+toilet+paper

Same here, use the scotts. I saw an article once on how to test T.P.. put a small ball of it in a canning jar or such with water and shake it up some...the scott disintegrates.

Your link actually goes to a Scott RV specific paper NOT the Scott 1000 single ply.

Just as the others have stated we as full timers have used the Scott 10090 single ply for 6 years full time with NO PROBLEMS.

Scott single ply here as well.
Don't use the packets that you toss down the toilet for deodorizer & solids breakup. We had one get stuck in the black tank gate valve seal and it prevented it from closing all the way. NOT a good experience. It ruined a camping trip.

Regular tissue, whatever is the best quality and on sale....lots of water. I do place gently used tissue in the trash. Considering the recent sponge test, lots and lots of water, flush when full. Purchased rv specific tissue once....never again. With many years of various rv's, have never had an issue with tissue.

We have always used the Scotts RV paper. Always pick it up at Wally world. Never had an issue so we don't really want to try anything else to save a couple of bucks.

We had always used Scotts in all of our campers with never a problem. Last year while wintering in Fla. we started using Costco brand, after two toilet back ups in two weeks, we are back to Scotts. No further problems.

We use whatever LOML buys (she's the boss of that stuff!) - Costco, Charmin, Scott's, whatever. No problems at all in over 30 years & six or so rigs (quit counting a long time ago). Also use a mascerator at home and haven't had any difficulty with that.
