Dometic furnace controls
I have a 2016 3710FL which had two domestic furnace controls. One in the living room and the other in the bedroom. The one in the living room works fine. The bedroom one will not turn the furnace on but, if the living room one is working and a temp set the bedroom one never does anything even when turned on. It gets smokin hot even when set the same temp as living room.
Any suggestions?

From what I've heard, the livingroom may be the only one that works for heat.

Doubt that this model has two furnaces, two thermostats makes little sense when one should be able to handle all functions. It will certainly be enlightening to hear more on this issue. Could it be that the assembly line messed up so badly in wiring...that it required another thermostat to be able to control the bedroom ac, which also may have heat strips installed or that ac unit is a heat pump? Since your unit is a 2016 it is still under warranty. I would call Keystone Customer Service and let them know what is going on and get a file started on the problem. If you are not near your dealer I would ask for a dealer near you that Keystone recommends or if they would approve a mobile service tech to look at the problem. If it get "smoking hot" as you say this is a safety hazard and be sure to let customer service know about this. I'm with others here and can't believe there are two separate thermostats for the unit especially for the furnace. There are sensors in the upper part of the unit to sense the A/C temps but not the furnace. At least not that I know of anyway!

after touring a few 2016 models, to include the 3711FL this is what I determined. One furnace, and two whisper quiet AC units. the bedroom thermostat is for bedroom AC only, I guess one thermostat with two zones was to confusing so they installed a separate thermostat. The main thermostat is for heat and main AC.
