Slide actuators
How do you go about ordering new hydraulic actuators for the slides? Where, pn, etc.
My rig is 11 years old, been having slide creep for the last 4 years. Instead of paying money for trouble shooting I think I will just replace the actuators. if that doesn't fix it then I'll replace pump. Any help will be appreciated

Assume Lippert, have you contacted them?

There is a Lippert test protocol sheet (LIP0076)that walks you through the procedure to determine if it's the pump or a ram. No need to spend unnecessarily (even though CW did and charged me for it). New pump is $1300.
Also look at Lipsheets LIP0010 and LIP0291.
I've been through the wringer on this issue. If you can't find the Lipsheets mentioned, let me know and I'll get them to you.

Unless you drop the belly and do some measuring on your own, you'll probably have to call Keystone with your VIN ... they should be able to tell you what the cylinder dimensions are as in bore, stroke, and mounting configuration. You can use the old fittings, but I'd surely replace the o-rings under the integral washer ... no sealant is required as these type fittings seal by the o-ring itself. Just lube the o-ring before assy. Once all is reassembled, run the slides in and out full stroke 3-4 times and the system will self bleed. Count the threads on the rod end with the big nuts to get you close as to stroke limit adjustment. Do not tighten both nuts together on the pusher arm ... you will break something really expensive as the cylinders have a bit more stroke than there is physical travel room.

Slide creep may be caused by air in the hydraulic system. check the reservoir level and cycle the slides to purge the air.

Well, I finally got around to doing something about my slide creep. I started by following Lip sheet 0076. I got to a step on the actuator test that I didn't understand so I called Lippert support and they told me to throw the Lip 0076 away as it wasn't the way to check actuators. Following their new instructions I determined that 2 of the actuators were bypassing. Since my trailer was built In 2003 I decided to replace all three of them to be sure. Before doing this I installed pressure gauges on both sides of the pump as shown in Lip 0076. As an added measure I installed two shutoff valves, one on each side of the pump. With the gauges I was able to determine that I had actuators bypassing. After fixing the actuators the gauges showed that I also have a small leak in my pump. It is not bad enough to cause a problem yet, but if it does I can bypass the problem with the shutoff valves. This saves me from having to purchase a new pump. Should be fun to travel without worrying about slides coming out!
