Water Inlet? 2010 3400RL Montana

OK, there is a compartment door on the drivers side rear that has what appears to be a hose connection. I thought that it was the fresh water fill but I found that in the compartment with the other connections. Happy 4th of July.... 104 here in DeLand Fl in my yard.... It's really HOT..

My 2010 gives you two choices. Fill from the convienence center if you're attached to water in a campground or fill from a hose (little door in the back) at places that sell water when you boondock like at Quartzsite and similar places.

Inside that small door is the fresh water tank vent along with the gravity water fill. When filling with the connection in the convenience center, the water will come out the vent when the tank is full.

The reason we don't stay in florida during the summer is the weather. Have the separate fill at the back as well. Used once...same as the number of times I put water in the tank. Think the fresh water tank would make a better galley grey tank... john

You can only fill from the convenience center with a hose from a pressurized water city/cg supply. The rear one is called a gravity fill port because you can pour from water tanks or jugs without any pressure.

Thanks for all the response! I knew it had to do with water, but never thought there would be two fresh water fills. But the gravity makes sense. Using it today for the 1st time! It's only supposed to be 99 so were only pulling 44 miles to a natural spring which is 72 degrees. The grand kids will enjoy it more than I will.. Thanks again for the help!
