Water pressure

Mother & I picked up our 2015 3160RL about a month ago & love it. Coming from a 27 ft Puma to our new Montana is quite the shock, as you can imagine. The question I have is, does anyone know what the water system is pressure tested to. I can not find it in any of the data we received nor can I find any tags stating what the system is pressure tested to. Any help would be appreciated.

I read 80 pounds someplace, but I normally use a 50 pound regulator

I'm not sure what the pressure is rated for. Most standard regulators are between 45-55 psi, I believe, which is what I use.

In theory it should stand 100#, but in practice there are too many connections and too many bumps in the road. Smart money doesn't push it over 60#. While I have my regulator set at 60# there have only been two places we ever camped with pressure higher than that and it was bursting connections in unprotected RV's on a regular basis. Most places we're lucky if the pressure is higher than 35#.

I have my regulator set at 45#. After reading this topic, I think I will set it at 50-55#.

Thanks folks. I figured that was somewhere around 60 psi. I also normally use a 45# regulator so I was pretty sure I was safe, but it never hurts to have a little more knowledge to work with. Thanks again
