Mor Ryder Suspension

We were on our way to rally and noticed that there was 6" spacing on one side between the tires and 10" on the other side. We stopped at the Camping World in Little Rock, Arkansas and they looked at it and felt it was unsafe to drive. Anyone have any idea what could be broken? All hangers, springs, bolts and shackles appear in place. The driver's rear wheel appears to be back from the center wedge.

Hope to have it fixed Monday or Tuesday. Terrie will meet me at the Little Rock airport at 9:30 Thursday morning and we'll hook up the trailer and leave for rally. A day late and a dollar short, but looking forward to seeing everyone at rally.

There's a bolt that goes thru all the leaf springs on each side of each axle. This aligns them together as well as position the spring pack to a hole on the spring pad on each axle ... perhaps this has sheared. 4" difference is a BUNCH! You probably have a lot less rubber on one or two tires as well if you pulled it like that for any distance. Hope it all goes together for your trip.

Ron. Check your U bolts. They may be loose and slipped on your leaf springs. They should be torqued to 65-75 ft pounds.

It looked to me like the spring pack shifted. We'll see what they find tomorrow. If it's fixed by Wednesday, we'll just miss a little bit of rally. I originally planned to have Terrie at Goshen and drive to meetings in South Milwaukee while Terrie stayed for the start of rally. We drove home instead and I fly out of DFW in a few hours to Milwaukee. I'm flying in to Little Rock on Thursday morning and we'll pick up the Monty and drive straight to rally.
