Norcold-2012

Before heading to home depot or lowes to buy a resident fridge i would like to see if theres a simple fix. 2012 montana fridge has operated in desert and norhern condition for years. It is now not holding tempeture and the ceiling of inside fridge on right side is now always wet. Is this a freon issue or something more. I don’t want to chase this problem with dollars as we have watch friends in Phoenix spent thousands of dollars to repair these Norcold. If it’s a simple fix im in.

No Freon in these fridges, as they don't have compressors. If it is always wet inside, have you checked the flap device in between the doors, that it closes tight against the gaskets of both doors? This has been an issue for some. I am assuming your fridge is the Norcold 1210, four doors.

Make sure the 12 VDC auxiliary cooling fans are working behind the fridge. They make a noticeable whine when running. As for the door flaps, look online for adjustment procedure as it will make a difference.
