Potluck Omelette Breakfast Scramble

2008 Mt. Shasta Rally
Potluck Omelette Breakfast Scramble
Sunday, May 25
10:00 AM to ????

Location: Clubhouse: don't forget to bring your own plates, silverware and coffee cups!
[/b]

This is what we do:

Bring a QUART SIZED FREEZER double ziplock-top baggie. One per person.

Write your name on it with a Sharpie Pen. (one will be provided).

Crack your eggs (you provide your own eggs), and put them in the bag and seal. Now you get to scramble them up in the bag, squish and squeeze!

Reopen the bag and add in any ingredients (that's the potluck part) that you would like to have, just as if you were making your favorite omelette.

Zip it almost closed, squeeze out most of the air, finish closing the bag and then gently knead the contents to mix it up.

Bring it to the cooking area. *Note* the time you put it into the pot of boiling water we will have waiting.

Time it with your watch for 6 minutes per egg (1 egg=6 min., 2 eggs=12 min.) Then come back with your plate to retrieve it out of the boiling water when the time is up.

Now go and fix er up with the fixins and toppings available for your omelette and side dishes that we are asking people to bring to share(muffins, donuts, sweet-rolls, potato dish or fruit.
