Scare Light Stays On?
Here's a weird one for all you wizards.......I put a bulb in the curb side scare light and the toggle switch in the panel worked fine for two weeks until the morning vaccation was over. The toggle switch would not turn it off. I pulled the wall panel and disconnected both wires to the switch and guess what? The light is still on as I write this, two days later. Any bright ideas? . I'm preparing to remove the bulb.....Thanks.

Once it is turned on the with remote, it can only be turned off with the remote. Happened to us once, don't remember ever using the remote to turn the lights on, but --they were on and could not get them to go off, no matter what. Until.....dealer suggested using remote to turn it off - it worked. Hasn't happened again.

OMG, that simple? I've never used the remote to turn it on/off either. Do both have to be on in order to turn them off?

With me, I dropped the remote in my pants pocket while I was hooking up and my keys or something pushed the button for me when I bent over to plug in the light cord.

Well Gentlemen, once again I am in your debt. I stood across the yard and fired the "lightbulb" button on my remote at the persnickety scare light and low and behold, off it went. This web site is AWESOME !

Gee One can learn a lot on this site,
I had the trouble with the light staying on a couple of times myself, I resorted to disconnecting the battery to turn it off. Now I read on here this info well I just had to go try it and BINGO it works, Thanks all
