Are 6V batteries superior to 12V batteries?...

OntMont Montana Master Join Date: Jan 2003 Location: Haldimand County Posts: 2,413 M.O.C. #122	True, but two 60 lb 6volt batteries are easier to handle than one 120 lb 12volt battery. In general, golf cart batteries should be built to stand the rigours of golf cart use; so they should be of a more rugged construction, but that is not an absolute, there are certainly some good strong 12 volt batteries out there.
