air compressor recommendation

Wasn't sure where to post this so I thought tires would be appropriate. I recently upgraded my wheels (4 new aluminum wheels & a new steel spare) to accommodate new G614's. As a result the AC air compressor I carry in the rig is no longer adequate because it only goes to 100 psi and I know I need over 110. Any recommendations would be appreciated (except for anything that Sears makes-won't buy anything from them). TIA.

Home Depot currently has a relatively small Porter Cable 6 gal 150 psi pancake compressor on sale for $99.

We use a Viair 400p-RV (40047). Runs off of 12vdc, up to 150psi, auto-shutoff, and includes 60' of coil hose. Easily inflates our Sailuns to 105psi. It can go from 85 to 105 in about 2 minutes. But, at $240 on Amazon, it is a bit of a budget buster.

The things I like best are the small size, light weight, fast inflation, and it runs off of 12vdc. Makes it easy to keep the tires at the correct pressure, even when boondocking.

Dave has a great suggestion. You might also try home improvement stores and Harbor Freight. I've seen 2 or 3 gallon compressors for $49.

Viair makes good stuff. I have the 300P unit which is less expensive, but it will still do 150 PSI. I extended the power cable so I could have the unit back with me when it is connected to the battery. You don't need a tank if it's just for tires, and that saves a lot of room. The 300P kit goes for $132 on Amazon.

Same here, it's just like the one noted above...6 gallons and 150 PSI. Got it at Lowes for $99.

I bought a Porter Cable 150 PsI from Amazon. I bought mostly because you can adjust the pressure down. Wanted it to blow out my water lines.

On my second 6 gallon compressor. Anything less and you run the risk of taking FOREVER to air up any high pressure tires. I have other family members borrow it when we trailer together. While they have compressors, they are smaller and take a whole lot longer so they borrow it all the time.

I installed a 12V ARB 150 psi twin air compressor in my TV. I mounted it in the bed to the side wall out of the wayl. I ran a SS braided line to a 5 gallon aluminum air tank underneath the bed. I have more than enough air for any road side tire emergency. To air up tires, use a pnumatic bottle jack and impact gun.It is not cheap but it is a great compressor with a 100% duty cycle. It was design for the 4x4 off-road community to air up tires and run air lockers systems. They also make a portable unit if you don't want a fixed mount.

I am another fan of a cheap Harbor Freight air compressor. The one I have has lasted over 4 years and still can air up my MH tires to 110 pounds. I have a little bit larger higher quality one for home.

I also use the Porter Cable that I got from Lowes. Have had it for 5 years now. I also have a Honda 2000i generator for the 5er that can provide power for the air compressor on the side of the road. https://www.lowes.com/pd/PORTER-CABL...ressor/4764588
