No anode in water heater

Why does the 10 gallon water heater in my 2016 374fl not have one ?
Just a plastic plug. Hole is too small for one.

If you have a plastic plug, you probably have a water heater that has an aluminum tank and doesn’t require an anode. JT.

There are two brands of water heaters: Suburban and Atwood. The Atwood doesn't use an anode. Apparently Montana used an Atwood in your rig.

Most of the newer Montana's have Atwood W\h they don't use a anode rod the have an aluminum tank.
