We were at Tablerock State Park and it's beautiful, Myrna. Nice wide, open sites. You can get full hookups if you make reservations via the internet. They have a discount for "mature" folks, too. There's a lovely walking path along lake. My aircard worked, too. What more can you ask for? It's a short drive out of town and away from traffic. I would look into Campground #2.
There's an Escapee's park there, too but it's not fancy.
