Best Roadside assistance
Hey Gang I am getting ready to renew my AAA plus Roadside assistance BUT I was talking with a tow truck driver while I was at a auto parts store and He said they hate AAA because they don't pay SQUAT,he says they only pay 75 bucks for a hook up and 3 bucks a mile and it is just not worth it to his Company ,Last year I had to wait 7 hours on the Oregon Coast waiting for AAA to find a tow for me and now I know Why SOOOO any Suggestions???

Not only that AAA may not service RV's in some States. We have used most all of them Coach net, Allstate,Good Sam and all of them gave us good service.

We had AAA and after the sales folks insisted that our RV plan had us covered I called their roadside # after we bought the Montana and asked if the truck broke down would they tow the rig to a park or leave us by the side of the road. Kansas AAA would leave us on the road. Went with Coach-net and had them come out to a wildlife refuge where the GPS didn't show roads. Talked the truck driver thru the dirt roads and they changed our tire. In addition, they have also given me good referrals, when they could, to local or mobile repair services when I needed it.

Cancelled AAA years ago when they jacked up the premiums. Went with Good Sam. Posted my first experience with them couple of weeks ago on this forum when I needed a tow. Gave them an A plus.

Have never used any of them but found the best reviews for Coach-Net so cancelled AAA and went with CN.

We have recently used Good Sam's and they were fantastic. One phone call to them and they found a place to fix our brakes on our Big Sky and sent a huge tow truck to our campground for the Big Sky..
Can't say enough good things about them. That was our only experience with them and glad we had it. You don't feel alone on the road and helpless...

We have only needed to use Good Sam once and the money saved will pay the premium forever. The service was excellent as well.
