Another new Monty

Hello everyone,

After approx. 9 Mos. of research and reading this and other forums we finally jumped in.

2013 Montana 3100RL, dealer installed 2nd air and pretty much every other optiion except the generator.

2012 Ford F350, sterling grey metallic, lariat ultimate pkg.

We are hoping to get out for a couple of weekends to work out the bugs before the snow flies here in Colorado.
Even though we are new to RVing I feel like we were more informed buyers thanks to all the info gathered from this forum.

Thanks and maybe we will see some of you on the road.

Glad to hear we helped with your decision making process. Montana's are good rigs and by in large Keystone is a responsive manufacturer. I hope we meet down the road some day soon.

Question, is there a door that can be closed so you can go from the bathroom to the bedroom without being seen from the living room?

Frank,
If your question is specifically about the 3100RL then yes. There is a sliding door between the Bedroom and the bathroom
so you can access the bathroom with the bedroom door closed. Not sure if all the "side aisle" floorplans are that way.
Is that what you meant?

Hello everyone;
We have just purchased a 2013 Montana 3800RE here in Leduc, Alberta,Canada. Traded a 2004 Carriage Cameo LXi after 6 years
of very good service from the Carriage.
Had PDI and have found very little to adjust. Headed South thru Washinton, Oregon and California on way to Mesa, AZ, our winter home.
1600 miles.Hauling with a 2006 F350 Super Duty deisel SRW.Handled
Carriage well so hope, with less weight of Montana and additional
handling features, we will get the same ride.
I enjoy the site and look forward to sharing my experiences.
Happy trails to all.
( yes we are going thru Roy Rogers country in Apple Valley, CA.)
