I had one made for our Splendide with a drain that empties out by the front landing leg. I also put a moisture alarm in the pan. I picked it up at Lowes.

We have a drip pan under our splendide and the drain hose goes through the passenger side storage compartment (close to the wall) and out the bottom.

We don’t have one on ours. Why would it be needed?

I had mine installed and the drain hose is out of the back outside wall through the floor.
I go mine in case one of the hoses break or worse I don't properly winterize and something in the washer freezes.

I don't have one and I sure could off used one when I had my problems recently. Instead the water ended up soaking everything in the basement. Last weekend I had to replace the cold water valve. No more leaks.

I had my dryer out for belt replacement. Before putting it back, I pulled the washer too. I sealed the walls of the closet, put a raised lip at the front and sealed it. Then I drilled a hole through the floor (being careful to miss the black water tank) and secured a hose through the floor all sealed. It protrudes out the bottom about 2".

If you have ever had the wash water back up and over flow because you forgot to open a valve, you would know why you want a way to have the over flow escape without flooding the rig.

Mine goes through the floor into the basement storage then into propane area to the ground. 3/4 pipe about two ft long.

We don't have one. The two times we have forgotten to open the gray tank, the washer basically stopped working so it did not overflow. As soon as we opened the valve to the tank, washer started working.
Happy trails..............

We just had our Splendide Washer & Dryer installed yesterday at the dealer with the drain pan which is piped directly out the bottom of the Monty and the washer drains out the main drain into the sewer line....can only wash when hooked up. Did my first batch last night....absolutely LOVE IT!!!! We had our closing on our S&B last Weds. and we are living in the monty full time....so I have quite a stack of wash....and was going along wonderfully til this heatwave...we are having some fluctuation in voltage and can't run the Splendide and the Air at full tilt together, was fine early this morning....but it's wonderful having it right here and not looking for quarters!!!
