Norcold Refigerator Problem
Hi
Susanne and I are back in country for the summer and just picked up the Monster from storage. Seems like we now have several problems that didn't exist before we put it away last October.
the biggest problem is the Norcold N811FRT refigerator which is not working. All the lights indicate it is operating fine on both gas and AC but it just isn't getting cold. On gas the flame seems to light OK and I can hear it burning but no cold. On Auto it says that it is working on AC but again no cold. It is not showing any indicator faults according to the manual.
Can anyone shed some light on this.
Thanks
Craig

how long has it been running. Often takes a will for it to cool much. Back or bottom of freeser is where it seems cool first.

For optimum cooling, the rig needs to be level. Take off the lower outside grill. If you find yellow residue, you colling unit may have failed. If so, see your dealer and/or call Norcold. Norcold has had a recall. Check to see if it includes your serial number. Now I am out of suggestions.

We have had it on and off with AC and gas for 2 days now and whilst it started to get cold when we first hooked it up to AC, since then the temperature of the fins has not dropped below room temp.

Remember that it isn't a refigerator, it's a heat absorption unit. It removes heat from objects inside it. Try putting some cans of soda and water in it and see if they get cold. Just a thought.

Thank you everyone for your help. The fridge came alive overnight. It is almost as if it needed time to reset itself.
Cheers

Hey Craig,
Sorry to be off topic, but are you travelling any this year?? Curious if you can come by and see a bunch of us in Marion, NC in August?? Still regretting missing you all last year.
