Shady Acres in Mobile, AL?

Can any MOCers tell me anything about Shady Acres in Mobile, AL. Plan on stopping there this coming weekend before heading to Gulf Shores for a week if there is room in State Park. We then would go back to Shady Acres if advisable for a month. In that month we would leave the Monty for a week as we travel back to WI (BRRRR!) for granddaughter's B-Day March 15. Any alternatives? Safe, friendly, and WI-FI important. Thanks.

Don't know about Shady Acres, but the State Park is full today. There may be a few spaces on any given day, but you probably need to get here early, I would call ahead to the State Park.

Not as close to the water but have stayed at Doc's RV Park in Gulf Shores, thought it was pretty nice. Has WiFi, cable and STORAGE and doesn't cost much more then Gulf State Park.

I should have been clearer. Tried Doc's and along with about 6-9 others in Gulf Shores found they are full until April 1 with the reservable sites at the State Park taken and now on a first come first serve basis. Got a site at Shady Acres this Sat & Sun with hopes of getting into State Park on Monday for a week. Then if Shady Acres looks Safe, Friendly, WIFI which it has we would go back there for the month. Plan on stopping by John/Donna when in GS. We have friends in the State Park at site 154Lad & Lois Jenicek) I think and they will check and hopefully grab a site for us on Monday. See ya'll later.

Be glad to see you. The "No Vacancy" sign was down yesterday afternoon, but back this afternoon. You would think Monday would be a good bet, but get here early, 11:00 would be good. You might also call ahead to see if they have a waiting list.
