Changing pin box

I changed my original to a Mor-Ryde, the stubborn person that I am, decided to do it by myself, because someone told me I would have to have help. Like I said, stubborn.

Nice job Ozz! With all them gyrations between the Monty and the truck now (assuming you still have your air hitch), it should almost feel like you forgot the Monty at home when you tow .

I had a Mor/Ryde installed at the last Fall Rally. The installer didn't install it level. I took it off in my driveway and levelled it by myself. Nothing to it is there Ozz. It now pulls like I have left the unit in the driveway as Brad said.

Ozz, I installed mine also, had the DW hold it up while I placed two bolts......NOT, my brother in law and nephew helped me hold it up while I pinned it. Works great, even did the electric myself......

Ozz,

In my opinion, the 5th Airborne performed better than this Trailaire. Dianna is not sure of that, so you would have to say that it is close. I 80 out of Joliet, IL to Elkhart, IN is a real test ground. It beat us up some, but is much better than not having some kind of shock absorbing pin box.

Just ordered the Mor-ryde from my dealer. They said they would install for $65.00. It is worth that to get it right. Couldn't believe that dealer was cheaper on hitch also. Every where else wanted $675-$749 plus shipping. My dealer sold me one for $585 plus $85 shipping. Supposed to be here next week. Can't wait.

Steve, you will really notice the difference, that is strange about your dealer, looks like you have a good one. Good luck with it.

Glad you finally got your MorRyde Ozz.....................I know you wanted it for quite a while. I have sure enjoyed mine. We used a transmission jack to put mine on; had a friend help who had done his 2 weeks before. Took about 20 minutes.
