California to Goshen

We are leaving Northern CA next weekend for Goshen and would like to spend a few days at Yellowstone. Is it best to camp inside the park or find a campground outside and take day trips. I know a couple of days will not be enough to see everything, maybe some day we will have more time.

Also, will someone be posting directions to the fairgrounds in Goshen. I found the website for the fairgrounds but don't have any idea as to where to go once we get there.
