Need advice - NH and VT in the Fall

Headed NE for the Fall Colors in late Sept, early Oct. Any recommendations for good RV parks in that area appreciated. I'm told that I need to get the reservation in early.

Contact the state department of tourism for a campground listing. Many of the camps in NE close from October to March because of the permafrost freezing the water supply below ground level.

You might try Lakeqwood Campground on Hog Island VT (802) 868-7270 and Goose Point CG at (802) 796-3711. They're right on Lake Champlain and have a high percentage of seasonal sites who have left by then. I think they are still open for business.

Thanks all...our plans have changed, due to s work thing for my wife...We had to abandon the Fall Colors itin, and we are now in...Ta Da... S. Calif!!

Not a fact I take great pleasure in, I might add...but we are in a very nice location for a month or two.
