Replacement dump handle
I have lost my dump handle, can someone tell me where to get a replacement.?
All I can find are the type that are threaded and you screw them on, but mine is 6 sided hole with an actual Phillips screw in the middle that holds the handle onto the extension tube.
THANKS.....

Tom- Have you tried having your dealer order one for you? Also, if you can wait till you come to the Fall Rally either Tiara may be able to get you one OR you can go to some of the RV Salvage places around the area and up into Michigan a little and more than likely find one of the handles there. I think there was one or two other posts about this same subject here on the Forum so you might what to do a search also here on the Forum for other answers.

At the last annual rally we went to, I complained about the handles and when the tech came to my rig he gave me a couple of spares.

They need to make the handles from metal. I have had to replace three handles in the last couple of years. I have one that is broken now and am using a small set of vice grips and they work just fine.

Rondo, I did search but no one had a link as to where they got them from. All I can find are the metal ones that are threaded.
I'll try calling tiara and see what they say, I don't have a dealer any where close to me.

Is the six sided shaft a solid piece of metal? If it is, what is the size of it? It may be possible to use a threading die to cut threads on the shaft the same size as the threaded handles that are available, then all you would need to do would be to screw the new handle on the now threaded shaft. I'm just throwing this out there, as I have not seen any photos of the problem parts.

I called Tiara and they have a good 1/2 dozen of them in stock, but said they sell 4 or 5 a week. So I ordered one and they said I can pick it up when we arrive for dinner.
Bob, the shaft is aluminum and kind of thin walled cause of the hole in the middle for the screw. I'd be afraid it would break off if threaded.
