Ontario, Canada
Have been staying at Cedar Beach Campground in Stouffville, Ontario for the past week - visiting friends and family in the area. Tuesday we will head up to Hasting,Ontario on Rice Lake to stay with family for a few more weeks -- will be heading home to British Columbia end of June.

Rice Lake area is real nice. We lived in Campbellford for about 6 yrs. and went through that area going to Peterborough. Black flies and mosquitoes should be active this time of year.

What's the diesel prices in that area Julie? We will be leaving for Newfoundland in a couple of weeks. Are you traveling through the Canadian side or the US side on your way to BC?

Diesel at Napanee, Ont. Flying J is $1.36 per litre. Our litre is 4.5 litres to Imp. Gal. I think the U.S. litre is 3.8 litres to U.S. Gal.

The current price in Newfoundland is about $1.60 per liter but may be higher depending on location. This is about $6.04 per US Gal. Prices here are regulated by a government commission based upon world prices for refined products. If you need any help planning your trip or in any other way please don't hesitate to contact me. Send me an message and I will give you my contact information. We just set-up for the summer in a park in the central portion of the province. It is operated by the Shriners. It has full service sites with 30 Amps. Otherwise it is pretty basic but the people are great. This year we have the largest number of icebergs coming south past the island since the International Ice Patrol started records before the first world war.
Here is a link to the Petroleum Pricing Commission for your convenience.
