Fuel prices again
In the last ONE week, we have gone from diesel at $2.50 a gallon now back up to $3 a gallon while regular only went up 20 cents a gallon. Is it just here in the NW?

They have found out that the diesel market is good at any price so they are controling the output to keep the inventory low and the price up.The dist.inventory took a big dive the last report and they blame it on winter heating demand.

Paid $2.49 today in Bakersfield. We are usually at the upper end of the price structure. I suspect we'll be going up very soon.

California is normally higher than we are. This makes it all that more confusing, though I heard some news item over the weekend about making us pay in advance for changes in the sulphur content of diesel. I guess Oregon is paying for everyone.

Diesel is $2.39 to 2.59 here in Austin Texas. Saw gas for $2.09 today, which is down form $2.15 to $2.19. It was reported on the news last week that Austin had the highest prices in Texas.
