Tour de Georgia

Well, I am back off to Unicoi SP, but will not be spending too much time at the camp site as this trip is designed around the Tour de Georgia bicycle race. I will go over to Dahlonega on Friday to see the conclusion of the fourth stage of the race, before Marsha and John join me that evening. Saturday, we will probably see the riders depart from Blairsville and then watch them suffer up the climb to Unicoi Gap. I would prefer to watch them drag themselves up to Brasstown Bald then, but Marsha does not want to spend the day there. Oh, well…

Ought to be some good fun!

Hope you honked when you went through Suches! Glad we missed the traffic again this year. The blocking of two of the 3 roads into and out of Suches is a pain during the Tour weekend, but it is over quickly.

It's hard to believe it's been a year since we visited you there and last year's race was going on. Enjoy the race and the park! That's a beautiful park.
