Home Sweet Home!

LadyRam put Miss Montana on her home site about 6pm yesterday. First good nights sleep I've had in weeks.

What an ordeal. I never got a real clear answer on the leaks and what the acutal cause was. On inspection it looks like they just sealed every possible crack or crevice where water could get in. The work sheet lists:

super glue (I think that's what they glued my carpet back down with)

white silipreme, white 221 Sikaflex, and black sicaflex 221 (This is what they put on the slides, including every screwhead)

The told me the metal rod bent because it was "misaligned at installation".

I guess a good hard rain will tell if everything is good to go.

The big downer is after all that time, I'm still looking at that broken dining day night shade by the dining table. (I have not been able to look out that window since my first week in Miss Montana) That happened to be one of the two they did not ship. I don't understand because when I spoke to Keystone parts two Mondays ago they told me they had all the right mini blinds in stock. Now they are saying "back order". The other one I don't have is over the sofa, so it's still a waiting game to finally get it right.

I have no regrets with replacing those shades (the upgrade) with the blinds. So much easier to shut down at night and open up in the morning.

As the song goes, "It's good to be back home again"....
