I took the time to read through the blog at the link you provided.
While this kind of runaround is not uncommon, there is no reason for the poster to expend all this effort himself. What would have happened if he wasn't handy? Sounds like he was not able to trust work done by others and had to follow up behind the "technicians" to ensure his own personal safety.
He did a great job documenting the issues. It reminds me of the old adage "Your crisis is not my problem". I feel for the guy.

The calendar on the blog was causing issues. It's all fixed now!

we had no problem with the site. What's unusual about his problems. Our front closet looked just like that.We also had many of his other issues.
