How to adjust power awning
I have my first power awning. VERY convenient and I like it.
However, I can't figure out how to adjust it with the lock things on the arms. i.e. if you want to lower one end to let the water run off.
When I extend the awning all the way, these sections don't seem to slide in or out so how do you adjust them?
Thanks

On my older model, I just pull down on one side and tighten the screw while I'm holding it down.

What do you pull down?? It seems like all parts are pretty solid. Do you pull down on the bolt where the 2 bottom parts connect?

On mine, on the arm there is a black knob, which you can loosen up and pull the awning down on that side to get a little lean. I've found my awning is pitched steep enough that I don't have to do it in most cases.

Just grab anywhere out on the arm or on the awning flap and pull it down. This will collapse the pitch arm...providing you don't have the adjustment knob tightened...then you sort of walk to the knob while holding down all the time. John

There is no knob on my arms. But the angle of the awning is such that rain will run off just fine. I do use tie-downs to keep the wind from blowing it up. Have not had any problems.

Go on line to Dometic awnings. It is well explained there. You will be surprised to learn some things that are peculiar to these awnings.

They might have the awning that is the auto dump type and there are no knobs or anything to adjust.

Agree, if there are no tightening knobs on the support arms, it is not adjustable.
