Surgery Clinic tomorrow

Well, darn. It looks like I have picked up a hernia somewhere. Internal Med doc diagnosed it last week. I have an appointment tomorrow with a surgeon at Travis AFB. We are staying in the Fam Camp there. They said we can stay as long as need be. Nice folks here.

I just hope they can get me scheduled for surgery soon so we can get on to San Diego to see older son.

Keep me in your prayers please....

Phil

Thanks everyone. Looks like surgery on 26 Oct. then about two weeks of healing and then "On the Road Again!!!!"

Might have to extend here another week. Good thing about Travis - once you're in, you're in. 90 day max and extension for another 90 if need be. Could winter here, NAUGHT!!!!!!!

Phil, good thoughts for your surgery - we'll keep you in our prayers. I had surgery at Travis years ago and they did it up right. They will take good care of you and Cathy. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

As I get nearer to my surgery date (Friday, 26 Oct), I want to thank ev eryone for the prayers and good thoughts. I have no worry that everything will be OK. I am confident the Lord will get me through this. After all, I haven't taught Cathy how to drive this thing yet.

Hey Phil, I feel your pain, same thing happened to me in Sept 06. Had mine repaired at Ft. Campbell KY. However we were in a Koa at exit #1 off I-24. Had the surgery done in the AM and was back at the 5er by noon. Stayed there about a week and a half and was back on the road. Just be very careful when lifting anything for the first month or so. If you feel a little sting in the area that was repaired STOP what ever your doing. You will be fine. Good Luck and God Speed... GBY and yours.......

This will be a good time for Cathy to take down the 5er, keep in mind you will be a good supervisor....... And Cathy you will do a great job............
