Las vegas Campgrounds/RV Resorts

Will be in Las Vegas third week of March. Does anyone have any recommendations as what would be the best one to stay in for about a month? I am not sold on staying at one of the Casino rv resorts, but will if one is nice. Would like to stay in a rv resort in the Las Vegas metro area. Thanks

Last year we stayed at the Las Vegas International RV resort and it was very nice. It is a fairly new park, very clean and quiet. Check it out at www.vegasrvresort.com Also check out my picture, it is of the space we had while we were there. Only issue I had was that they do not provide outside tables.

Thanks for the tip. Very good possibility we are in the area about two weeks from now. the trip was origionally planned for March 16 but my nonnavigator is anxious to go see the Grandkids. At 42 years old Grandpa just does not sound right. But my stepdaughters are quite busy in that department. So I have 7 grandkids with one in the oven.

We stayed at the Las Vegas International RV resort for 2 months and loved it. It is far enough away from the noise of the strip yet close to many off strip casinos. The folks were very friendly and the park is extremely clean. It was one of our favorite parks.

We just spent 3 days last week in Boulder Lakes RV Park on Boulder HWY. It is very nice and the price is right. It has over 400 spaces.

After checking out the Las Vegas International RV site we were very impressed so my husband called them to ask a question about internet access. They said they will not be there next winter. They are closing this spring. Maybe someone else will re-open in time. It looks like a wonderful spot to spend some time!

We checked out the park and thought it nice also - sorry to hear they are closing. We stayed at AZ Charlies RV Park on Boulder - the space was a pull through and phone service at sites along with cable(I believe) - it has been since '03 since we stayed there, last trip stayed out at the base closer to my son and grandkids. Also Sams Town has 2 nice parks but charge extra for different services - you might check there website. Good luck and enjoy you are going at a good time of year.

Safe travels.

I know you don't want to stay at one of the casinos but, we stayed at Circus, Circus for a couple of nights to be close to the downtown so we wouldn't have to make any parking arrangements and it wasn't too bad a place to stay. I think it was about 12.00 per night with full hookup.

trukdoc: I agree Rick and Wanda but our dogs spent their first season we got them in Az. so they were use to doing their business on the road or whatever without grass. Circus, Circus parking lot didn't even fiz on them.

We like the Boulder park and the area. Close enough to the strip when you want to go there but far enough for some quiet time and better scenery.

Hi all, sorta a newbie here. Haven't been able to log on all winter for some reason.

We stayed at the Las Vegas International RV park last two weeks in March. Yes, it was lovely and yes, it is closing. Making room for condos I believe. The owners are the ones heading up the project, so I don't believe there will be any changing of the minds.

Arizona Charlies looked nice and when we return would like to look into that.

hope this helps.

Sorry to hear about the trouble at the Vegas KOA. We stayed there in Feb and had a great time. It would be nice to have a heated pool at that time but I found the Spa to be a good one. I had no problem. Now in the Summer when it is 120 degrees The lack of heat in the pool will be appreciated.

We stayed at the Oasis a couple of years back in February. Nice park, but at that time of year there wasn't much grass or foliage. It's just down the road from the strip by a couple of miles, easy freeway access.
