Shower control

Our shower control has a handle that you turn. If you turn it all the way on then the water is too hot. If you turn it down about a millimetre then it's just right. Any more and it's too cold. Finding that sweet spot is very di! Are they all like this or is it just ours?

Haven't seen one like that before. All the Montana showers I've ever seen had two handles.

Looks like it was changed from the OEM shower control for some reason.

Looks like a cheap RV answer to a shower valve. The one in your house is pressure balanced, this one I'm sure is not, so you're getting whichever temp water has the most pressure (cold).

I had a problem like that and replaced the mixer.
