Mystery switch

Hello from a newbie! We are familiarizing ourselves with our new-to-us 2010 Montana Mountaineer 324rl. We know what everything on this interior panel does except for that unlabeled switch which makes the red indicator light turn off and on. I know I can count on someone to have the answer! Many thanks in advance!

Ceiling fan & light.

Sorry I thought you were talking about the big switch to the right.
Red switch... I don't know.

Betting it is a previous owner modification - more than likely wires will need traced unless your lucky enough to run down the previous owner(s)

I’m guessing that it is the electric element for the water heater, since on older models, the switch was always outside on the water heater.

Smile Thanks!

I really appreciate everyone's input. The switch doesn't run exterior LED's, but we will be testing James' idea about it being for the electric water heater element tonight. I bet that's it!

I bet that is it also as I added the same switch to my 2010 to turn and off the water heater.

Well, after our extensive testing it IS an after-market electric water heater switch for sure. Thanks again guys!!

Looks to me like a master switch for the electric hot water heater. (Still probably has a switch on the heater itself)

Mysterious switch

It’s not water heater switch that’s beside the pump switch it’s an add on for sure possibly tank heaters as that was not a factory option
