I thought the concrete guy was doing the concrete!!
Looking at your picture the front left wheel is touching the grass are you putting cement in that area along with the arpon. I still think the moterised dolly would be the hot ticket, probably cost the same or less, I dont know what a contractor gets for work per foot in your neck of the woods. but it sounds like you have it nailed down.

There is 40+feet of concrete behind the camper. The camper is where it is for loading our stuff into it.Yes the driveway will extend down to the curb from where the front tire is close to the grass and we will slop out another 8 feet on the otherside to make the apron 31 feet wide..My concrete contractor(and friend) is doing the work for 1200.00 and that's for 5 inches of concrete same as the rest...

Some people will do anything to have less grass to mow, like buying a bigger FV'er.

Rich, good luck with your project

Here we call that piece of land the "parking". It is fun to know what others call it, you never know when that information can come in handy--maybe a trivial pursuit answer. we have a neighbor that was always having her friends park along the street in front of our house so it was difficult to back in with the old 5er--she even had the nerve to say she didn't know who was parked there when we asked her if she knew so the car could be moved one time--after we got the trailer in the driveway her friend walked out of the house and drove away. we just park ours on our son's 10 acres now and take the things we need there before going on a trip. The neighbor doens't have her friends come any more either.

Nice neighbor,,actually parking is not allowed on the street and all the homes have wide driveways..although not as wide as ours.We have several boaters and other campers on the street so we are all considerate of one another.

We are leaving for a 16 day trip to Canada and upper Mich the 4th of July and they will start on the extension to the extension the 5th of July.Should have a easy back in when we return and less grass to cut.

Rich, the concrete is going to look great!!! By the way, I love the design of your home, what I can see of it. Looks a little like some of Frank Lloyd
wrights later work. Blends well with the surroundings.
Enjoy the trip and be safe.

The house and several others on the cul-de-sac were built by builder whose homes are in great demand in this area and strangley enough he patterened some of his work on FLW designs...Don't think this one though .It is classified as a Tri level. There are a couple of ranches, a few Colonials, some bi-levels and a few contemporaries. This is a heavily wooded area and they "blend in" 63 in all and we are isolated. We were very fortunate to come by the home 16 years ago.. It is a long story but we were able to purchase it at about 1/2 of its market value..Right now we hold the record for..most concrete...and biggest camper/ Boat..We are sure that will change..

Rich, That will be nice to have the work done while you're gone!! Dano & I pulled our Monty from the lake up to the house on Saturday. We've never had it up top before. Not sure how we're going to get it out when we leave next,,, We have plenty of concrete (one of the things we loved about our place). We can still park the truck, car, and have company with the Monty sitting there! It's nice to have it right outside.

We have plenty of room IN the driveway. When the camper is in its normal parking area along side the house we could have another 3400 in there and all of our cars/trucks some company and be OK.. It is coming off the street that was the problem with this camper..it is just to long to make the turn into the driveway so we are mostly getting the apron widened and tidying up the rest of the driveway...this is the Last time..

Tom,
Once again you have shown your true colors. While you can be upset with a product, the fact that you have chosen to personally attack another member goes to show you are not a true gentleman. If you feel so strongly against Keystone and the Montana fifth wheel, I ask you, why are you still here? I may be the only one who feels this way(doubtful), but do us and Keystone a favor~ sell your coach and move on.

I guess we're not immune to this stuff. Our admins do a great job staying on top of this stuff. Thanks, Lady RV and RVWheels for responding to my PM so quickly and quietly... No sense making a fuss over this...

Not that I'm perfect... I just had a post deleted ("off topic" - imagine that).

I was not sure how many saw the post the other morning but think that he was totally out of line. I agree with Rich and Montana Sky and give a thumbs up to the Moderators for getting it off quickly. I just hope he does not return under another ID.

As far as Rich's driveway is concerned, it seems that one can never have
enough room to navigate with the Montana's, pour all the concrete you need. I know it took me a while to get accustomed to the different turning radius from my last trailer.
