Overnight battery drain

Hello,
I have an issue with the battery in our trailer when I am hooked up to 110 overnight and leave the trailer hooked up to the TV. If I forget to unhook the pigtail by the end of the next days travels, I have a dead battery. Should you have to unhook the TV from the trailer when stopping overnight?
Thanks,
LCarter
