Generator storage compartment mod

don't have a full size gen so modified the compartment to use it for hoses, rugs, small 2000 yamaha gen.
just have to clean it up and load it up this week.

Nice mod, but (not to pour rain on anything) you should probably wash the bottom out every couple of months or so. Even a small amount of sewage is really corrosive (unless you're seriously cleaning those sewer hoses before putting them in there).

Plan on mounting pvc tubes at some point for sewer hose

Another option is relatively cheap caps for the hose. Seal it off and drop it in. This is what fits my hose, but others are available: http://www.amazon.com/Valterra-T1020...ewer+hose+caps

Nice job! Since our Monte is not generator ready, I guess I'll have to build the divider wall also but a great idea and a great way to put away items not used that much and easier getting to things you use more often on the top side. I have put a rubber mat on the bottom of my front compartment, where the floor has the slots in it, to prevent moisture and critters from coming into that area. The hole is ideal or less used items and your idea of covering it with a piano hinged door is great. Just another thing to go on the mod list!

Come to the Central Plains Regional Rally in June and show us your mods! Good way to meet more of the MOC posters here on the Forum also!
