Back Surgery

Charlie is home and recuperating. Due to disc deterioration he had to have surgery on his spine last week. The neurosurgeon removed an old fusion along with another disk, and replaced with longer pins and screws. He is wearing a brace to support his spine to help with the healing process. The surgery went well. Approximately a 3 month healing timeframe.

Hope you heal faster than expected. Be sure to give yourself time to get around and take it easy.

Get better soon. Do't lift anything heavier than a TV remote.

From personal experience I can testify that therapy and following the LIFETIME exercises do pay off- If I miss a day of the exercise program, I pay the piper the next day- It is time consuming and a bit uncomfortable but it pays off- JMHO- Good luck! Don

Glad all is going well. Being a back patient and having had surgery, I have compassion for the pain and suffering. Get well soon and "Never Surrender". Larry

Glad to hear everything is going well. I had back surgery the end of January and I'm really feeling good. Of course the wife keeps yelling at me to behave myself. Just started driving again but still wearing the back brace for another week til we see the surgeon again. Be sure to do exactly what the doc says. These backs are really important to us.
