We have traded in the Montana

On our way home this spring from Florida we did alot of thinking and we made the move to a motorhome. We're excited but sad to leave such a great group of people. In the 5 yrs. we have been members we only made it to 1 rally and that was last fall. This Montana 3400rl has treated us very well no major issues or complaints. We will tell any Montana owner we run across that even though we are no longer MOC'ers what a great rig and company they were. We will also tell them about the best darn forum on the WWW. I'll still be checking in from time to time and hope to see some of you on the road in the future, and if you see a "bus" flashing you it's just a natural reflex that will be hard to stop. Drive safe and take care. Bill & Stacy

From one SOB to another SOB congratulations on you new adventure. Also once a MOC'er always a MOC'er. I still go to the MOC rallies and always will.

Every one tells me I'm an SOB, so I am, I am. Don't think of it as anything else but a lifestyle change. And, you can go further down the road without having to stop for the DW to potty. At least I can.

Good luck with your new unit and keep in touch. You have to match the RV to your lifestyle, not vice versa. We hope you have many happy miles in that rig.

Out of curiosity why did you switch to a MH? We have seen many couples who were 5th wheelers for years turn to a motorhome at the end of their traveling. Are they easier to drive?

Hopefully this isn't the towards the end of our traveling (we're in our early 50's) but to answer your ?'s as to why the switch to a MH. The on board generator is the biggy, we have a protable (now for sale) that we never used too hard to load and unload, hook-up extra mod's etc. We also travel with our dog and making side stops in very hot or cold weather we could not do, and don't feel comfortable doing. Less steps. Ease of set up, just push a button and level and very sturdy. We owned 2 HD trucks and didn't need 2, dealer made us such a great deal we thought why not try somthing different. These are just a few of the reasons for the switch. Stacy

Thanks for the answers. We don't use a generator and unfortunately no longer have a dog. The ease of setup sounds nice. We have a dome/satellite with our new 2010 Montana. That has made life so much easier. Anything that makes setup easier we're all for. Enjoy your new rig.

Congratz on the Motor Home, at one time we almost went to a Motor Home but stayed with the 5th wheel. But thats what life is about changes, a person has to do whats best for them. GBY....
