Time Flies

Terrie and I just got back from Colorado last week. We have been MOC members for almost seven years now and we will be attending our eigth rally this fall. When we first joined, it seemed like a long ways until we could envision long-timing. Well, while in Colorado we hired an architect to build what we hope to be our last home NW of Fort Collins. We reviewed the first concepts today and are very excited. If all goes well, we will break ground this summer. We still have a few years to go until retirement but we are very excited to be in this stage. And yes, there will be a nice spot for Monty with a Mountain View of the Rawah and Mummy Ranges.

We fell in love with Colorado and moved here in 1998. You couldn't pry me out with a crowbar! You're gonna love it.

Congratulations Ron and Terrie, make sure you have a second or third site for visitors. I now have two FHUs in my yard.

That is exciting, I love Colorado also, spent a few years in Cascade, Woddland Park and the Springs. Time does fly.

I am returning Terrie to her home state after about 40 years. We actually got married in Colorado in 1973. The FHU's are already in - there is a nice campground and restaurant right as you enter Glacier View Meadows called Western Ridge. We are going to push to get it completed for next Christmas, but we'll see how that goes. Lookng forward to guests.

Congrats to you on the new home. I'm sure you both are very excited. It can be a stressful time but a really fun time too. Picking out all of the colors and accessories for the home.
