HYDRAULIC PUMP OIL

Can anyone advise me as to what kind of hydraulic oil I should use in my reservoir that operates the slides? My system is manufactured by Lippert. I think I have a small hole in the hose that connects to the pump because everytime I extend or retract the slideouts, it leaks hydraulic fluid down into the tray that supports the pump. I need to top up the fluid but I am not sure what type I should use. Camping World carries hydraulic fluid but the salesman I was talking to didn't seem to know if it was the right kind. Can I purchase the fluid at Walmart? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

Go to Wal-Mart and buy the cheapest transmission oil. MIMF, who used to by a Lippert employee, recommends this.

Here's a copy of MIMF's comment on another post(didn't ask for permission but it's searchable on this forum,I assume it is OK);

"go down to Wally-World and get the cheapest automatic tranny fluid you can find. The label
will need to say "Dexron/DexronIII or Merco/Mercon5". Now, when you start pouring that stuff into the reservoir, you will immediately notice that it
is red in color. It ain't gonna' matter! That is another story."
