Roof leak in bedroom - Montana Owners Club

My Montana is a 2018 high country 365, both ac were replaced as they were both faulty. First hard rain I have water dripping thru my daughters bed room ceiling in the seam, which is right where the rear roof ac sets.. could it be they missed the gasket up. This is urgent. I also live full time in this. Thx all

If blizzards were the replacements, could be faulty covers or extra install holes that need to be plugged. Do a MOC search, good threads on issues/fixes on those units. Otherwise, could be a damaged gasket, drain holes in the pan cold be blocked or the AC unit itself may need to be tightened up as they can vibrate loose.

Thx it was a dometic replacement. Never seen them take a gasket up with them, as it was a mobile unit that did the install and I haven’t moved it since the install. So your right it could be the gasket.

Blizzard is a Dometic product line. The Blizzard units can be quickly identified by their two piece covers.

Yes it does have a two piece black cover., I will look for the extra hole thanks for your help.

If they weren't leaking before they were replaced it's a good chance they got the gasket out of place. Or the bolts that hold the A\C unit down are no tight.

Update. It is a blizzard so I did the checks that were suggested. If I spray a water hose on the roof in a bout a minute I get water coming out the inside roof seam. I unbolted the a/c from the roof. The foam inlet and outlet ports are dry down in the roof. For a test I rolled plumbers putty where the foam gasket hits the roof all the way across the front and down the sides of the front port. Tightened it back up. Same situation. Any ideas.

Could it be going down in the screw holes. Rv tech at a dealer said to take it off caulk everywhere with rv caulk put it back on ?
