Pressure Pro System

Just received my Pressure Pro System and am beginning to get "hitch itch." Will air up the tires sometime in the next three weeks as we get prepared to leave here on April 1st.

You will be amazed at how at ease you feel with the Pressure Pro monitoring the tires.

Orv,

Please be careful, that hitch-itch of yours is catching...headed out on Monday.

I feel a whole lot better by being able to push the little dispay and see the pressure on all the tires.

Orv & Robbie, We are getting it also. We hav been on Eglin AFB since the end of October. We should be leaving here 17 Mar, 2 months longer than originally planned. I vote for the Pressure Pro System also.

With all the tire issues we read here and on other forums I had to get a tire pressure monitoring system. We went with the pressure pro and love it. I feel much more at ease when traveling down the road. And it has help to cut down on the prep for the road in that all I have to do to check the pressure in the tires is push a button. It has cut about 10 min. off the check for the road.

The traveling itch must be catching. I will receive my Pressure Pro system Monday. We can't wait to hit the road no matter how far.

OK you Ford folks w/PP system, where did you mount the monitor? Plan to get it for our rig, soon. Curious.

Chris... WE have the 08 F-350. It is crowded on the fight deck. We felt we needed to keep the antenna above the dashboard level so we velcroed the monitor to the dash so that the antenna is above the level of the Dash... There is a little flat part of the dash that runs across the dash. We have had no problems with readings.

Crowded "fight deck?" Oh no. You and co-pilot at it again? Kidding. Thanks for your feedback, Rich. Too cold to go sit in the truck. Maybe tomorrow?!

We mounted ours with the Velcro as well. The top of the main body of the monitor sits about 1" above the flat of the dash and is centered above the radio. Easy to read and operate with no loss of signal.

Just finished mounting mine on the flat spot right above the radio. It just so happens that we have a custom covering on the dashboard which allows us to velcro anything to it as long as we use the part of the velcro that has the hooks in it. Works fine.

I just practiced programming and found that all four tires on the truck were low. Of course I haven't put any air in them since January '08! It's time, don't you think. Will do that tomorrow. Wife has the truck out right now.
