need to sell

After many years of loving our montana, the time has come to sell it. It is a 2005 36rk and in excellent condition. I have tried to sell by posting on craig's list and locally. Any suggestions on price or better ways to advertise? I have asking $17,000 or best offer.

This is vacation time for many families, plus there seems to still be tons of "baby boomers" beginning retirement. If possible I would try to find a spot to park it so it is visible close to a busy roadway. We have had good luck on Craig's List with items including vehicles. We make sure we include several photos plus we update it every few days.

We also have had good luck on Craigs list, but numerous good photos was the key. Also, there is a for sale thread on this forum.

I have also had great luck selling cars and other items on CL. As mentioned above, I believe many good pictures and renewing your ad about every 3 days are key factors. Best of luck. 2 years ago my wife and I assisted a friend with placing and updating an ad to sell his nice motorhome. Sold in a week.

you can try facebook local and or county garage sale works pretty well or put it on ebay i have the same unit are you sure you want to get rid of it they don't build them like that anymore average sale between 23000 to 26000 in good shape if you have slide awnings flat screen tv's i bought mine for 14000 but it had many problems i would never sell mine, the rear kitchen is what makes that unit good luck

I sold my last 5ver using RV Trader. The buyer was from 300 miles away. It's not too expensive. Be sure you have good pictures. It helps a lot.
