I click on the leak and a new window opens but nothing ever gets downloaded.
However, I just finished doing this on my 9 year old rig so I can relate to what's potentially there. I guess now that we're full-timing it's gonna wear out more often. Took me two hours to do this but most of the time was trying to keep everything clean, sanitary and dry. Then there's also the first time I put everything back together and the toilet leaked horribly because I did not seat the seal correctly. What a watery mess that created. Got it all cleaned up, broke it all back down, and not it's all good. Good thing I didn't take pictures.
The tech I worked with said they recommend it be replaced every 3-4 years. How can anyone gauge that unless that's if the toilet is used every day, then it would also depend on how often per day? I'd say the design is weak if it creates wear and tear. If a flap method was used, then there would be less wear and tear from rubbing but then maybe other problems would arise.
