Maint on TV riser/motor 2012 Montana 3455SA
Is there any maint required on the riser and motor for raising your
TV behind your fireplace?

Make sure all electrical wiring is tied back so that it can't chafe. Apply a light silicone lube to the toothed vertical rod and you should be good to go.

So far, all I've done is keep the rod lubed. No problems at this point.

Checking how they tied the wiring back there isn't a bad idea. We found our's was secured together with a Northern Indiana brand bread tie. Had a good laugh showing that to the folks at the service center who did a great job tying them up the way they should have been in the first place.

The biggest thing is to check how the power wires are secured. Make sure they are out of the way of all the moving parts. You may need to remove the fireplace to have complete access to everything back there. Many of us have found wires pinched and chafed because the wires were not secured well from the factory. There are some posts here on the forum on this repair, but I was unable to find them because the search function isn't working like it should
